This 2-day workshop is a structured educational event designed to empower families and individuals with disabilities as they transition from school services to the maze of systems in “the real world.”  Each series provides educational programming in the areas of Medicaid Waivers, Social Security Insurance, Employment, Special Needs Trusts, legal authority, transportation, Law Enforcement Safety, LCPS Transition Services, Recreation, Social Relationships and Futures Planning for families with young adults with disabilities.

Last year’s program was a huge success… the parents/caretakers truly enjoyed the time they spent in the program.
