What is Maggie's Closet?

We are a non-profit organization, the newest program of ALLY Advocacy Center, located on the Paxton Campus in beautiful downtown Leesburg, Virginia. Maggie's closet is our newest initiative to help families in need. What Maggie's Closet does is offer a unique shopping experience to both children and adults, where they can come to the closet, grab a shopping bag and pick out an outfit.  And it is all for free. Maggie's closet takes donations of very gently used clothing, and new clothing and we offer it to those in need from the community. How did we get our name? We named it after Margaret Paxton, who preceded her mother Rachel Paxton in death, and to whom our entire campus was named by Rachel.  

What do we need from you? Your support! If you've got clothing, hangers, any other closet goodies - we'll take it! We also need unopened packets of brand new socks, underwear, t-shirts in all sizes. And soon, we will need winter coats.

We are always looking for volunteers. You will find that volunteering for us is very rewarding and so much fun! Our doors are always open.
